Final Fantasy Tactics is a roleplaying strategy game for the Playstation first released in 1997, 1998 in the US. Though it was created by the same company, Square, this game has a different style from the rest of the famous Final Fantasy series. Some people say it's a little difficult to get into, but others say that Final Fantasy Tactics was, and still is, one of the greatest strategy video games ever made. A dramatic storyline, interesting character development and a complex but intriguing battle system are just some of the things that keep fans coming back!
Now as part of the "Ivalice Alliance" series, Final Fantasy Tactics was re-released for the PSP in 2007 with new characters, jobs and cutscenes!
The Ivalice Alliance includes the Final Fantasy Tactics Advance game for Gameboy Advance and Final Fantasy 12, which takes place in an Ivalice of the past! Tactics Advance 2 has been released for the DS and the sequel to FF12 as well. Exciting! I sure wish I had a DS!
